Motivated more than ever..

There's always that one little thing that triggers you and you feel super pumped all of a sudden.. and that need not always be a pleasant, happy or positive thing that sparks a fire.. sometimes it is a negative or even a sour surprise from someone, u truly have thought nothin' but good things about & believed in, that has such an effect. And such a motivated feeling is great if looked at from a positive perspective but at the cost of starting to loose respect for someone built over more than a decade?? hmmm..

Don't ask what this is or who its about.. this ain't no love story gone bad..this could potentially just be a frame of mind that I'm in after all. Anyhow I've got a beat to write to.. and I'ma make this one PARTICULARLY my biggest hit ever.. I'm ridin solo on it.. n one day hope to talk about it.. give the media somethin to catch onto n spread.. I'll give it a positive flava though.. back in the lab now.. its almost 4 in the morning.. Big Tune to come soon. Promise!

Auto Tune ain't dead but u definitely are, Mr. Artist, if u can't sing Live!

Man.. its sad to see the state of the music scene sometimes..watchin PR dollars $$ pounding listeners with tunes some artist can't even perform live.. think about it.. seriously, how f***** long did u really take to lace your vocal parts on that beat? r u seriously the same artist that even sang that song? LOL.. now I ain't hating on auto tune or melodyne.. they're great studio pitch correction tools but use em in limit.. or fuck it.. tweak the s***outta ure vocal for the effect.. if it sounds hot..do it BUT BUT BUT u gotsta be able to sing that s*** live.. bring out your Antares live rig to help you..like Kanye does but the dude still sings live.. this lip sync s*** is seriously cheatin Music n cheatin dem fans that come out to show support n love & spend money to..well, watch u SING LIVE! Bangin drums, a BIG bass n a lotta energy n hypes on stage are great to keep the audience engaged but one seriously can't lose the core essence of the whole performance which is the vocal performance.. I really wanna see artists do a ballad atleast once in their career to prove their vocal ability if u actually call yourself a singer.. just my thoughts!

Its been a while..

Wussup y'all.. glad to be back on here.. gotta make time to speak up n say watever..lol.. this is what makes bloggin fun..  so here I am in Mumbai after a hectic past couple weeks in Toronto.. rocked desiFEST..bangin show..bigup to everyone that came out, the promoters n my kick ass team ofcourse.. did a few interviews on the album.. n all that good stuff n lemme tell y'all I think its about time "Desi Urban" be recognized as a mainstream music genre cuz for myself n the many other artists that's pushin this sound in their own unique way, y'all know we done it..!

So ppl been askin me wutz new? wutz poppin..? Well...hmm first of all a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for the love they been givin me from all over the world.. fortunately, 'Deewana Tera's been makin waves all across the globe n with the album n video now out, just pushin hard to get it to every set of ears in this world..lol .. another thing quickly struck me.. NOPE, I ain't just a desi artist.. Im an artist that happens to be desi n yeh makin music that I want everyone to listen n jam to.. even if u dun understand everything of what I sing.. think about it.. very many of us dont understand a word of the smash hit joint "Gasolina" but I can vibe to it anytime of the day and at any club in the world.. there u go.. lol..deewana tera bana diya babayyy :)

So besides the record, my promo tour n the second video for kasam se about to drop, I'm involved in the production of a few songs for mainstream Bollywood flicks n bla bla bla.. keep a look out..i aint stoppin anytime soon.. got a few interesting subjects i wanna bring up in my next few blog entries.. peace out.. keep ya heads up..

Update from M-CITY a.k.a. B'Wood!

Wussup ya'll.. daymm I miss t.dot, my peeps n famz but anyway been doin good things around here.. been on the move since day one meeting top shottaas, riding rickshaws, jet lagging, spending $ 30 a drink at high end clubs, done eating 2 rupee vada paav's, seen the ghettoest slums n million dollar mansions.. done it all man ..n its been only 2 weeks.. LOL

So, here's whats poppin with the music scene.. this city is LIVE! Got 2 labels already showin interest..(can't name em for now).. gotsta finalize n sign off on a deal by end of month. Other than that met A R Rahman's Manager.. Ehsaan.. n a few other folks.. all good people n there's many good things in the pipe.. I'll keep ya'll posted ..its all God's work btw..

Security around the city is crazzyyy.. gotta go through checks at restaurants haha ..all good.. women r worth dyin for.. well, some of em' atleast.. anyway, im out for now.. lemme go get crackin in +25 degrees weather LOL ..*hint* ima talk some more on this post soon.. peace
